U-lite Linux

So far we have had a great first few days in our donation campaign. As it stands, we have 55$ from 3 donors and I would like to say I have already extended the communities thanks to them, but once again your help is greatly appreciated.

But those of you who are still thinking about donating, do not let our early success fool you. We still have much to go to reach our goals. It is with this in mind that I would like to discuss more completely what will be done with these funds, as to perhaps encourage some of you who are not sure if your money will go well used.

U-lite is growing. I think it is time we give tuxfamily a break and get our own hosting. This will also allow us to distribute our ISO hopefully. As you can see on the write, I set up a ChipIn widgit to help get this started. Perhaps the goal is a little ambitious, but let's see how far we can go.

Note: I say 2-3 due to the ammount of paypal fees depends on the size of each donation.

There has been some growth in the community of people who have not had some experience with me (and my failings) as the developer of u-lite. The problem boils down to my work on u-lite (along with many other things that I would love to do) being placed on the back burner while school is in session. Fortunately, in five weeks this semester will come to a close and will reopen my time for a massive leap forward for u-lite.

As I am sure you can see, I have began redesigning the website for our new name. I look forward to comments as to how to make it look better. Please make any comments you have here in this thread. Also let me know if you have any problems!
